Every morning I wake up at 2:30 am. My first thought of the day is what shall I bake. My mind begins to wonder as I imagine myself behind the counter of my petite pastry boutique greeting each pastry lover as they come in for their daily fix. The boutique is always bright and welcoming; the air smells like caramel and chocolate as Josephine Baker plays in the background. I place each pastry delicately into the cold case, as I peer through to see the smiles of children pointing to the confection of their choice. The dream is soon to become a reality. I love what I do. For now I am here sharing what I do until the day I can duplicate what I do for you in my pastry boutique, The Sugar Peddler.
